In 2016, she attained a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of London but did not pursue the Bar Vocational Studies (BVS) until 2023.  She completed the BVS alongside a Master of Laws specializing in Employment Law and Family Law at The City Law School, London, and was Called to the Bar of England and Wales in July 2024 by The Honourable Society of Gray's Inn.  In April 2026, she successfully completed the 6-month conversion programme with the Council of Legal Education and subsequently received a Legal Education Certificate to practise law in the Commonwealth Caribbean.  In July 2026, she was Called to the Bar in Jamaica and established her private law practice under the name Trinity Plus Law Firm.  Click here to schedule a free consultation. 

In addition to her legal qualifications, she holds a Master of Science Degree in HR Development, a Bachelor of Science Degree in HR Management, the Senior Professional in Human Resources-International designation, and is a certified Data Protection Officer.  Leveraging her qualifications and 30 years of HR experience, Mrs. Vaz-Heaven operates Human Resource Dynamics, an HR consultancy independent of her law practice. 

As a lifelong learner, Mrs. Vaz-Heaven encourages others to continuously invest time and effort in their personal and professional development.  As part of her own growth and development, she is pursuing a Restorative Justice Facilitator course through the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, with completion expected in September 2026.  Additionally, she serves as a Justice of the Peace.
